when is the deadline for high schoolers looking to apply to west point. And also what is the process itself in the order of how they do it. Do you apply spring of junior year or fall of senior year. And do you get a nomination before you get accepted?

This site should help you

The nomination process runs parallel to but separate from the usma admissions process. You need to have received a nomination in order to be offered admission.
Usually candidates open a USMA candidate file in December of their Junior year as part of the application to the Summer Leader Seminar (held in the summer before senior year). Nomination deadlines vary, most are around October of your senior year (geting a headstart during the summer is a good idea). Usma second step applications (main admissions application) are being made availabe in the first week of September this year. Serious candidates should aim to have their admissions application complete by December of their senior year (well before the deadline). since admission is offered on a rolling basis.
Good luck!

The service academies say that the SAT deadline is in January. Does that mean you can take the SAT in January.. or does that mean only the tests before that date will be accepted? The January SAT day is on the 26th.

The first Monday in March is the deadline for file completion so the Jan SAT is the last time you can take the test for USMA admissions purposes. That being said, since WP works off a rolling admissions system, serious candidates should have their files complete by December of their senior year.
