Application process

<p>So, I have a question on the letters of recommendation and teacher evaluation:</p>

<p><a href="http://ugadm.northwestern.edu/documents/UG_AdmissionBooklet2010-11.pdf%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://ugadm.northwestern.edu/documents/UG_AdmissionBooklet2010-11.pdf&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>Also, how many letters of recommendation does NU want?</p>

<p>I'm doing my application online, yet, how do I get my letters of recommendation online as well? </p>

<p>As well as a teacher evaluation, how does that work? It appears there isn't a teacher evaluation online, so do I need to print it out? </p>

<p>I'm planning on applying ED as well (and I did that signature thing on my common application, which says that they will mail my school soon with my guidance counselor signing off on the application).</p>

<p>Also, any additional information I need to know?</p>

<p>Lastly, do I just go to the ACT website and pay the $9ish bucks and send it to NU?</p>

<p>I know it seems like I'm bi-polar with how I write, but please help a stressed out senior!</p>

<p>My understanding (a Mom)…
Need 2 letters of recommendation
Using the common application, you note the name & email of the teachers you have asked to write you a recommendation. An email is then sent to the teacher, with the form they fill out online on your behalf. The CA site records when they have received the LOR from your teacher.
Your test scores may be a part of your official High School transcript. Check to see if they are. If so…that will eliminate the need to order the scores from the collegeboard. If they are not on your transcript—ask your GC if they can be put on your transcript, and how they want that to happen. If it is not an option, you will need to order your scores be sent to NU.
Now…breathe…! Fingers are crossed for you!!!
