<p>I checked my status online and under the bold "Recommendations", the 2 recs appear as not received. However, under "Other Supporting Materials", it says that teacher and counselor recs have been received, with no names. I am worried that they havent clearly received them.
I have called them but they said they have received both. Im just kind of worried.</p>
<p>The same thing happened with my daughter- don’t worry. She needs to find out what’s going on with her test scores which were sent on 9/22 and still marked as " not received." She called last week and was told they were there and would be synced to her account shortly, and then called back on Tuesday and was told they are not showing up anywhere and to give it a few days. She needs to call again just to make sure they are showing up somewhere. </p>
<p>Relax. There are different ways of categorizing recommendations and different ways of receiving. I believe if they are received electronically they will be reported one way automatically; if they are received another they will be recorded another - manually - and therefore may go under a different area depending on who is doing the input. If the school has verified receipt, you are fine. Even if the recs don’t appear in the “right” category, they do appear linked to your account, so you are fine. The issue would be if the recs did not appear linked to your account at all and the school did not have a record of receiving them. Best of luck!</p>
<p>I would not worry about this at all. I had the same issue last year, yet everything worked out fine. If you’re worried, email the admissions office.</p>
