Application Question

Hi, I am an in-state applicant who applied regular decision.

My ACT composite is a 31, SAT is a 1460 (730 in both sections), and my UGA GPA is currently a 3.6. That being said, my GPA being so low is due to a very poor performance sophomore year (didn’t apply myself at all). However, I had straight a 3.9 (UGA GPA) freshman year, and a 4.2 (UGA GPA) my junior year. I will have 5 AP classes total when I graduate (APES (4) and AP Lang (4) from junior year and AP Calc, AP Euro, and AP Lit from senior year). Will UGA manage to overlook a bad year for fairly decent performances in the others as well as good test scores? FYI: my school offers only 3 AP classes to juniors and 3 to seniors, so I couldn’t start taking them until my junior year. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated as I have begun to consider other options. Would just like to know where I stand.

P.S. I have excellent extracurriculars (developed a business and sold it for seven figures, developing third-world healthcare software right now, and am involved in SGA, NHS, and athletics).

As for AP classes taken, UGA will look at the rigorosity compared to what’s offered at your HS.

Should be moderately easy acceptance, intended major?

Btw I got in with lower SAT and a little higher GPA, so don’t sweat it.
