If I dont give enough info about my parents` ethnicity and degree of education would that hurt me? Or is it better to give all the info?
Can anyone help me out please?

...why would u hold some of that information back?

If by not "give enough info" you mean forgetting to mention that your parents are well-educated adults with degrees, then it will hurt you in that you'll be lying. If the school found out, your offer of admission would certainly be rescinded.

Maybe I'm missing the meaning here, however. It is dishonest to hold back information about your parents' education and employment because they, along with your geographical location, are the best indicators of the financial (and otherwise) opportunities you've enjoyed throughout your life. It would be unfair for an applicant to be judged against an inaccurate background.

Definitely give out all the info you can. Two reasons: 1) parents' education, jobs, etc. are all required questions, and they may tell you that your app is incomplete and you'll have to redo it. This will not make them or you happy. 2) They may assume that because you didn't write down that stuff that you're trying to hide something....they may assume that you're very well-off with well-educated parents but don't feel you measure up to Harvard's standards for privileged people, so you're trying to pass yourself off as less privileged. This would not be a good assumption for them to make.

And if the issue is that you can't fit all the info in, then still try to be as honest as possible....for example, my mom has two grad degrees but there's only space on the app for one grad degree, so I listed the more advanced one.
