Application Question

when filling out the paperwork for VASSAR admissions (i.m currently a HS senior), it is up to me whether to use the "common app" form or Vassar's application correct? I don't need to complete both of them right? I already had my teachers fill out the common app evaluation forms and have not used the Vassar forms... Can anyone clear this up for me? Otherwise I need to call admissions ASAP.

You can use either one. Just make sure that if you use the Comm App that you complete the Vassar Supplement. If your teachers have completed their recs using the Comm App forms I think you should use the Comm App to be consistent.

I actually asked Vassar about the recommendations form. They don't care which rec form you use, regardless of which app you submit. So you can use the Vassar app & the Common App forms. (In fact, they don't really care if the teacher uses a form at all - they'll accept just a letter.)

Thanks! One less thing to worry about.
