how much would attending a summer college program (during high school) help your chances of getting into a university? i went to Cornell summer of '08, finished with a 3.4 GPA and 5 college credits. i plan to apply to UCF early and for the summer session because i'm on the fence about my grades. would they honor my efforts at Cornell?

I think it definitely looks good but speaking from just my experience, I could be wrong, things like that don’t make much of an impact on schools likfe UCF. By schools like UCF I mean colleges that aren’t bad but don’t get an application pool full of top notch students that are almost all identical and every little extra thing counts. UCF will look at that but what’s most important are your grades and test scores, I’m sure they will accept your college credits though. What are your stats? (GPA unweighted and weighted and SAT/ACT scores)

i haven’t taken my SAT or ACTs yet, i take them in a month or so.
