How many books, concerts, etc are you putting in each section?

also, what is considered an online publication? only news sources?

I put 5 in the casual reading section, 6 in the required reading section, and 4 in the films/shows/concerts section.

Frankly, I’m a huge movie buff, and I love reading. I probably watch at least 2-3 movies a week, depending on my workload. I also probably read at least a book per week. That’s why I put all the books/movies I watched the past year and loved. I ran out of room before I could finish my list, but I got my top choices in.

However, I personally believe that it doesn’t matter about the number you put it; it matters more about the content. You should try to offset your lesser respected choices with more respected ones; for example, if you put in, let’s say, Harry Potter, you should put in something much more higher leveled that you enjoyed - maybe something like Lord of the Flies. The only reason they want to know what you read/watch is to get an idea of who you are as a person; they want to know whether you’re the fun-loving guy/girl, which they’ll recognize by a ton of comedy movies. They could decipher you as a more intense person if your lists are filled with objects from the horror category. It’s essentially a psychological analysis, in my opinion.

Nice. Honestly, does it matter if I put a movie I saw this year that was released a few years ago? What does it even matter if was in the past year or not?
