I finished my application on the SLU website (not commonapp), and was about to click submit when I realized that there was no questions about extracurriculars. Am I supposed to send a resume? Or do they not care? I really need to submit it soon, because they do rolling admissions, and I want to find out sooner rather than later if I got in.

I’m interested to find out, too. My son is applying to SLU and he also received the Express Application link in his e-mail. However his school’s counselor said he should use the common app instead. Hope someone chimes in.

Hello everyone! As a current SLU student I thought I’d weigh in on this one…

If I remember correctly, there’s a spot in the application where you can attach a resume (it’s optional). If you can’t find it, you can always just send it to admitme@slu.edu/email and they can add it to your application for you.

Formykids, I have no idea why your son’s counselor told him to use the CommonApp (it makes his/her job easier??) because the Express App is so so so much easier. Literally all the info is already there, you just have to add a few things. I remember trying to apply with the CommonApp and just getting way too frustrated… I used the Billiken Express App in the end! :)
