Hello there! I'm currently a confused Junior and it would be great if you can answer some of my questions!

I took the SAT 2 times already and I'm still not satisfied with my scores. So I'm going to retake in October, during my senior year. I want to send in my applications early, like about the beginning of the school year. But is it even possible since my October scores won't be available until later on? Am I suppose to wait until I get my scores back, which is going to be in November to send in my applications?

I'm really confused about the actual procedures, it will be so great if you guys can help me out a bit. =)

Sending in your applications early doesn't mean that the AdComs will start looking at them early. You can send in your part of the applications whenever you want (although I would counsel against zipping through your essays, etc. just to send them early and "get rid of them" - you will do a better job if you give yourself the chance to mull things over, revise, update, etc.). The colleges will just hold everything in the file until it's all complete (scores, recommendations, transcript from your current school, etc.) and then review them according to their own time table. So there shouldn't be a problem with Oct. scores arriving later. You will have to direct College Board separately (like when you actually take the test in Oct.) to send your Oct. scores to the schools you have sent your applcation to.
