<p>Hey! I’m applying to OCU for MT and VP, and I’m curious about part of the common application. I think OCU just started using it, but maybe you know from other schools that you/your children applied to. On the Common App, there is an optional “arts supplement” for all involved in the performing or visual arts who want their colleges to know about their talents and passions. As an MT/VP auditionee, do I need to fill this out? I only ask because there is a section that says to provide a website where institutions can hear a ten minute sampling of your work. It’s a required field, but I’m assuming, since I’m auditioning, that I wouldn’t need this. So should I use the arts supplement or not? </p>

<p>P.S. In case you know that some colleges want it filled out and some don’t, I’m applying VP to Ithaca, Oberlin, Carnegie Mellon, SMU, and NYU (of the ones that use the common app).</p>
