I submitted my application almost a month ago and everything is there as needed and it says Ready for Review. I'm from the US and I've read on the website that decisions are usually from Jan 27 - March 27 but I've also read McGill is rolling. My gc says that one girl last year got a decision after Christmas so I'm not really sure how long it will actually take. Does anyone know how long would it take for a US student who applied around the end of October to hear back a decision?

I’m in the same situation. Does anyone know?

Mid to late January is when you will hear. admissions is “rolling” in the sense that there is no one decision date. They also seem to come out randomly too during that period.

I don’t think decisions are released until the final application deadline has passed. After that deadline has passed, you may find that your status has been updated from Ready to Review with a request for updated transcripts with your grades from first semester, senior year. At least that’s what happened in my D’s case last year. As I recall, she received a decision in mid-February or so. Decisions are rolling in that once the application deadline has passed, they do seem to come out on a rolling basis.

Good luck!
