Application regret-question

This is a little ocd but I was wondering…
When I was writing my “Why Brown” I guess I was really tired or something, but when I looked at it today, it kind of seems like I really like the open curriculum because I already know my concentration and just want to take classes there and nothing else. That’s not true, I’m still going to take a variety of courses…but would Brown frown on me indicating something like that?

I'm not sure-- I wrote my Why Brown before I wrote my other Why essays and the later ones turned out better...I essentially built my essays around my Brown essay, because my essays were about academic goals. I'm nervous.

yup... pretty much your all kinds of up a river without a paddle....

haha, not at all.

there is no brown person/essay/need. if your other stuff is interesting, you have as good a chance as any. as long as you dont come off as a total slacker youll be fine.

if youre still really worried, send them an email with the new essay and tell them why. im sure theyll be rather impressed by your reflection and insight.

I didn't put much about academics in my essays (at least, I wouldn't say I did...)--any of them. I guess I thought the transcripts would speak for themselves. I kinda wanted to focus on other issues...I hope I showed further drive...
