<p>I am an early action deferred applicant. My application status changed from "We will try to give you a decision in a few weeks, but you will receive a final decision no later than April 1st." to "Your application is complete. The Committee on Admission is working to render your decision as quickly as possible. If you have questions regarding your status, please call the Undergraduate Admission Office at 800-873-WAVE (9283)." Does this mean anything? Thank you.</p>
<p>Not really. It is pretty much the same thing, I am fairly sure.</p>

<p>I got the same thing. I’m also an EA deferred. I think it really doesn’t mean anything differently then the before. I’m hoping we find out soon.</p>
<p>My daughter got the same thing. Strange that they would change the status message, though; if it means the same thing?</p>
<p>It likely means the same as far as you are concerned, but indicates they have pulled the file to be actively reviewed, as opposed to still pending in the “bullpen”. Which makes sense since they have to finish up all applications this week.</p>
