Application Status Check

Recently, I checked my application status after nearly 2 months. I applied around Jan 19 and haven't checked since then. However, when I checked, I couldn't find any decision related to my admission. The status check only shows a list of my documents and their statuses, but where on the page do the UT admission people post the admission decision? I've searched everywhere for the sentence that states my admission decision, but I just couldn't find it anywhere. On the bottom of the page it says "This information is current as of 03/22/2008" "An official confirmation of our admission decision will be mailed to your permanent address."
I'm just wondering if I could see my actual admission decision written online on the status check page because I'm really worried that I won't be accepted. Also, the financial aid office at UT sent me an email saying
"The Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) has electronically
received your 2008-2009 FAFSA application from the Department of Education. However, we cannot process your application because you have not been admitted to The University of Texas at Austin."
Does this mean that i'm not accepted? Why doesn't the application status check page show the decision though....the e-mail says one thing, but the status page doesn't show my admission decision...so confused.

I believe this means that no decision has been made...

It will say "Congratulations, you've been admitted" near the top if you get in. I'm assuming a similar message would appear if you get rejected.

Thanks for relieving me of a bit of some anxiety...:)
Hmm, so should I still keep my hopes up? Basically, the admission people will write a message at the top of your status stating whether or not you have been accepted, correct?
Oh no, I just checked my status documents and it clearly states that I'm missing my permanent resident card but that is the only document missing.

"Our records indicate that we're missing the documents listed below. If we do not receive these documents by the application deadline, we cannot make a decision regarding your application.

Documents are processed as quickly as possible. Around the application deadline, it may take one to three weeks for your document(s) to appear on your Application Status page. Thank you for your patience. (Items that arrive by the deadline are considered on time, even if they do not appear online by the deadline.) "

Is it too late to send it? All of the important documents related to my academics such as test scores and transcripts have all been sent it. So, just a permanent resident card missing shouldn't matter too much hopefully. Ahhhh, I do hope that it's not too late to send it in.

if i were you i would just call them and find out what's going on. i think that would be the only way to find out right now what is the real status of your application.

I dont think it will be a problem. Actually, I got admitted yesterday, and my documents were only processed on Feb 26th, way after the deadline. So dont worry. Call them up, and tell them about this. I am sure you can work something out!!
