I applied EA at Georgeown. Is there somewhere on the Georgetown website where I can check to see if all of my forms/recs/test scores have been received? If not, is there someone in the admissions office who I can contact?

Thank you.

No, there’s no such thing. If your application is incomplete at review time, they’ll send something in the mail.

aleeroz, I had the same question. I asked my counselor about it and she informed me, much to my surprise, that this is Georgetown’s 1st year to do their application on the web. So while other universities (particularly ones on the Common App) have been digital for years and have gotten the kinks out of prospective student accounts, Georgetown has lagged. Unfortunately, pswib is right. I’d much prefer an account that details my progress, so to say, but it does not exist. :(

Georgetown has done applications online before (last admissions cycle before)- they just haven’t gotten the structure together yet for everything else.

Oh, I stand corrected then.
But still, the point is Georgetown is relatively new to the online bit and doesn’t have the same conveniences as other colleges, who have been on the web for a while.

PS Does this mean that we will be notified of our admissions decisions solely by snail-mail, or will they email us? Sorry to hijack your thread, aleeroz, but it fits in with the subject well I think.

Only international students receive emails- everyone here in the U.S. will get snail mail.

When you say that we find out if something is incomplete via snail-mail… Will that hurt our admissions chances if we forgot to answer one question or something? Also… The area where it said “Positions of Leadership,” I said “See attached information” and emailed more about it… Will that count as an “Incomplete answer?”
Sorry for stealing your thread too…:)
