Application Status Help

<p>When checking my application status on the school's website, I had the </p>

<p>"Your application has been completed. Please check back often as your decision will be posted here when it is available"</p>

<p>message for about 2 months. This morning, it changed to </p>

<p>"Your applicaiton is complete. Please allow 4 weeks for a decision to be made." </p>

<p>Has this happened to everybody else that has heard back already? I really would prefer not to wait another 4 weeks.</p>

<p>this hasnt happened to me yet (i wish) but some other people said they got their admission decision a few hours after that went up… i dont think youll be waiting too much longer!! good luck.
ps. did you apply to the honors program? it seems like those are all the people (not me) hearing back first</p>

<p>I really hope it is in a few hours. I didn’t apply to the Honors Program but I applied early November and have decent stats (30 act/3.7 UW). </p>

<p>You don’t “apply” to the honors program… you apply to UConn and then you are automatically considered for admission to Honors.</p>

<p>@BNixon, are you a connecticut resident? b/c if you are then i (an out of state applicant) might be waiting a bit longer regardless of how early my app was submitted :/</p>

Based on my experience, it should come out within the next two days. I had the same situation happen to me and I received a decision about 2 days after my application status got changed to “Your applicaiton is complete. Please allow 4 weeks for a decision to be made.”</p>

I was in state and applied to Engineering.</p>

I got accepted the day after it changed so that time frame seems correct.</p>
