Application Status just changed...Chance me please?

<p>I submitted my Golden Gopher app on December 3rd with everything else arriving on time to meet the priority deadline. Just today, my status change to the "Carefully considered" status. Since this whole admissions process has taken so long, I am kind of worried that I'll be rejected. So can somebody please chance me? Here are my stats:</p>

<p>PA Resident
Race: Black
Gender: Male</p>

<p>GPA: 3.8/4.0 UW (Upward trend as well)</p>

<p>SAT: March Scores:1430/2400 OR 920/1600 (M:440;CR:480;W:510)
November Scores: 1540/2400 OR 1040/1600 (M:420;CR:620;W:500)
Superscore: 1570 (M:440;CR:620;W:510)</p>

<p>Class Rank: 180/325</p>

<p>HS Type: Well known and academically respected Catholic HS in the Philadelphia area. About two month ago, it was ranked the best private HS in my county! One of our students even got into Harvard!</p>

-Single parent household (I don't know if this is an actual hook or not, but I just decided to throw that out there)

-Student of the Month in Theology 2 times-Junior year
-Theology department award for being tied for highest Theology avg. in Class of 2013
-First Honors (93 avg, No grade below 90)-3rd quarter of Junior Year
-Second Honors (88 avg, No grade below 85)-4th quarter of Junior Year
-2 Student of the Month awards from my Theology teacher</p>

<p>You have good EC’s and the work experience will work in your favor, but you’re in the bottom half of your class and your SAT scores are really low.
At least from what I’ve heard, the U is getting increasingly more competitive and so their decision on you may be up in the air. </p>

<p>If you applied to one of their more selective colleges like CSE, CBS, or Carlson, those colleges will probably turn you down if you were otherwise accepted into the university.</p>

<p>Oh, and from what other people have been saying, when your tracker status changes to “being carefully considered,” you’ll probably know your decision within the next week or so. </p>
