Application Status Question

My application status went from evaluation to applicant. What is the difference? Thank you

Did you click on applicant to see what it meant? Otherwise I would contact admissions to ask them.

Samething happened to my son’s application. He emailed admissions and was told his application is under review. Please post response they give you.

Just guessing here, but I feel as though they may have divided up all of the applicants into batches. If, for example, you were within a certain GPA or score range, they would automatically put you in that batch. They likely would review the top batch first, so your application status changing from evaluation to applicant may signal you are not part of the batch they are currently reviewing.

My son’s changed to applicant when he switched majors. Hope it is actually under review his 3.7 GPA and 30 ACT.

So what is the difference between evaluation and applicant?

@myconcerns1 I just switched majors as well so maybe that is the cause

when I click on it it says: We have begun processing your application. Please check back at a later date for a status update.

What is your major?

logistics management

@marg101 - See this blog discussion between two other users… Hope this helps with your original question.

What are the stages an application goes through before a decision is made?

My son’s application went from Incomplete to Evaluation.
What is the normal progression—Incomplete–> Complete–>Evaluation–> Decision (Accepted/Deferred/Rejected)?

That’s how my daughter’s went last year. Then she was accepted on November 14 I believe and that was the first round of decisions last year. They usually release the first rounds about 2 weeks after November 1 deadline.

My son’s major is also logistics management.

@dreamed -do you remember if your daughter received her decision by email, snail mail etc…?

@SALSRL - The above post about decision status is from two other users not mine. Applied this year.
