Has anyone been contacted about missing application materials yet? Since they dont give an account for you to check yourself, im a bit worried about them possibly forgetting to inform if something is missing...

no responses…really? bump…

Hi AdmissionsDaniel, really hope you can see this.

I’ve actually considered applying to JHU last year for fall 2011 (I’ve submited my CommonApp and Recommendations), however, due to some financial matter and time constraint, I had to drop the application.

BUT JHU has emailed me a few times to remind me of the missing materials from my application, and this really inspired me to reconsider JHU. I know it’s way past the RD deadline and really really late now, so may I ask, would this affect my chances of getting in? If yes, by how much?

Would really appreciate if you cold help me on this, thank you!! :)))

I would imagine it’s too late now, Yuewan, But you never know, right? Give the admissions office a call. It’s worth looking into.

@Yuewan
Your post confuses me a bit. If you have been contacted by Hopkins about missing items to your application than that means you have an active application with us and your application was not “dropped.” If you submit the missing items as soon as possible then your application will be considered for admission and your chances will not be impacted because you had missing items.

In the future, such correspondence should go directly to the Admissions Office (gototjhu@jhu.edu or 410-516-8171) rather than posting on a community message board.
