<p>Has anyone heard from JHU regarding items missing from your application? I ask because i know other schools have a Feb 15 deadline to get all the missing stuff in...</p>

<p>I haven’t received any contact aside from financial aid stuff, but I think they only contact you if something’s missing.</p>

<p>yea, they don’t have the “web-based” application tracking system. so, they let you know if they need something or what not. So be patient haha it’s an uncomfortable process, the whole college admission thing</p>

Is my application complete? Do you have all my stuff? Can I check my status online?
We understand that you all are anxious to make sure every last piece of your application has been received and processed correctly, but we must request that you be patient. Our Operations staff is working diligently every day (with a lot of overtime as well) to process the volume of application materials we receive around the deadline day. If you e-mail or call us at this time of year, we are not able to confirm whether application files are complete or to identity which individual items have been received.</p>

<p>The process is as follows: once your application is downloaded and processed, you will be sent an e-mail acknowledgment. This indicates that your application file has been started (not necessarily that it is complete). Please remember, with thousands of applications to process, this e-mail acknowledgment is not automatic and may take a few weeks to be sent. In early February, once we have processed all received application materials, we will e-mail students whose applications remain incomplete. Those students will be given an opportunity to provide us with any missing items before we complete the evaluation of their applications. Rest assured that application files are checked carefully, multiple times, for completeness.</p>

<p>Do note, unlike many schools, Johns Hopkins does not have an online system for checking application status. We do things the old-fashioned way. You will not receive a log-in and password where you can track your application materials. We do confirm applications and have an extensive process for making sure missing materials are collected.

<p>I can add that our Operations team has been contacting incomplete applicants over the last couple of weeks. At this time if you have not been contacted then you can safely assume your application is complete.</p>

Thanks for the information. I was recently alerted that there were some things missing. I tried fax as the e-mail suggested but it couldn’t go through. So I scanned the document and e-mailed it instead. I was wondering if I would get a conformation once the things I sent in was received and done correctly.
Also, would admission decisions be e-mailed on April 1st also?</p>

No our Operations team does not send confirmations when an individual item of one’s application is processed. If you are not contacted again about missing items in your application then you can safely assume it was received, processed, and your application is complete. </p>

Also, would admission decisions be e-mailed on April 1st also?

We have not decided on what day we will release Regular Decision notifications.</p>
