Application status

So I applied to OSU main campus as a transfer student for spring quarter for engineering. The website says, and I have even asked the admissions office about this, that I do not need to send my SAT/ACT scores and high school transcripts if I have completed more than 45 quarter credits. Well, I have a total of 52 quarter credits, completed my online application, and my transcripts are now “completed”

There’s just a small problem. When I look at the application status, it still says “Incomplete” because my HS transcripts and SAT/ACT scores are still “Initiated,” even though I am not going to send them in, as they are not reviewed when considering me for admission.

Does this clear up? I noted on my application that I am applying as a transfer student. I applied on December 13th, so I don’t know if it takes a little more time or not. As you guys may imagine, I’m checking my application status daily to see if anything has changed.

I would call the admissions office first thing Tuesday morning to have them clear it up for you.

I’ll try that. I thought they would check the transcripts to see how many credits I had since I’m applying as a transfer, but I guess not…

Okay, so I called them on Tuesday and they said the status on the SAT/ACT scores and HS transcripts will change from “Initiated” to “waived,” and my application will go into evaluation. They said to check the status on Friday. Well, it’s Saturday. I’ve checked yesterday and today, and nothing has changed. I don’t know if they are just busy with the amount of freshman applications, or if they are waiting for the other items.
