Can you check your status online?

Nope .

so far, according to websites...i have a complete app at columbia and brown, and my apps have been received at williams and yale...come on other schools!

Other than the trouble of trying to keep track of PINs, ID's, and passwords, I think its really nice to be able to track my applications online. Maybe Yale will jump on the bandwagon next year.

Did anyone get a letter in the mail? The confirmation email said that they were sending more info; what info is this? I had assumed it would be a link to check status. =(

My app is complete at columbia too, enco! Almost at brown...they haven't received my personal statement, although I submitted it the same say as my part i. weird

Zantedeschia, I'm having the same problem with Brown and my personal statement, although they say they've received other forms that I sent in the same package.

Maybe it's just how they're processing stuff.

Oh good! I thought maybe I accidentally forgot to upload it online or something. Whew!

I got a postcard in the mail from Yale (that rhymes:)) last week, so I bet you guys should be getting yours shortly. I live in Seattle by the way. Was your email message sent from James Nondorf, because mine was, and my mom seems to think it means something.....

yeah, mine was sent by James Nondorf too.

mine was too...i think they're all sent by him. All the official ones are; like the ones wayy in the summer about visiting and applying and stuff.

I'm sort of addicted to checking my app status online. Not so much anymore, since I've been accepted to a couple places, but before that it was a daily ritual. Duke has a really nice application status site, and so does Cornell. Stanford has little confirmation whatsoever (maybe a postcard eventually), and that annoys me. Yale's system seems to be okay.

Yale doesn't have the online status thing apparently, but I love how efficient and careful and personal they are. They process your app really quickly, and reply to your questions quickly. And they don't just have auto-confirms; they actually do check everything.

Zante-I'm starting to think Princeton's admissions office was run by a bunch of lunatics...it took them THIRTY DAYS to tell them half of my app was missing, and lo, at Columbia they have everything THREE days after I sent it in!

Princeton just likes taking its time
but hey its PRINCETON! :)

Don't be upset at Princeton, it's hard to hold a martini with one hand and open envelopes with the other.

LOL rjsmith

Hey guys, I mailed mine in on the 4th, and I haven't gotten any e-mail response.

Is this typical for most schools? In the last week, I've sent in all eight of my applications (most on Friday of last week), and I haven't gotten any e-mails. Should I be worried?

nah...it takes a week or two to hear from them.

its been more than two weeks since i have sent my app, prolly nearing a month now..should I be worried that i still havent received any sort of confirmation?

call them up.
