Application Status

I received an email some time ago from Dartmouth acknowledging the receipt of my application. However, till now, my application tracking page does not indicate that all my application materials have been received. I'm getting a bit worried since it's now early Feb. I'm thinking of emailing the Admissions Office. Any advice?

well considering i've not received anything about my application, I would not sweat it.

or maybe we both should. eeeek!

It takes a long while for everything to work its way through the system and make full circle back to you, Don't worry about it. If you sent them, they have them.

yeah i got through. i just went to the site and searched for application status and i found the page. no more worries.

I keep trying to check my application status only to see the message that "We are presently processing the materials we have received from you...we are unable to check on the receipt of individual forms at this time." It's said this for quite a while. So should I worry about not being able to access my status, or are they still processing apps a month or so after submission?

again, i wouldn't worry

CandidateA, I'm in the same situation as you. I've emailed Dartmouth a few days ago but I've not received a reply. I'm kinda worried because my application materials to Princeton went missing despite me sending them by courier.

My son got a letter saying they had "opened a file for him" and were looking forward to reviewing his application. The message on the status check website has been the same since mid January, that they had received his application and it was complete. Maybe they are working they way through the applicants???

Hmm.. I receive nothing except the email acknowledging the receipt of my application. I didn't receive the letter containing my username and password as well. I pried my username and password from the application status checking website instead.

This might seem like a stupid question, but if the status page says that they have received everything and will "further contact you by email or phone if they need anything else" (or something like that), do they really mean it? A few of my colleges haven't gotten my second teacher recommendation, and I'm kind of worried that Dartmouth might not have gotten it, but that I'm never going to hear about it.
