Application status

Does it matter if one never checked on-line the status of their application because they assumed everything was complete? ie. other schools sent a card saying the application was complete. Just checked the status page and it says it says March 10th was the last date to check the status of the application. Assuming everything is in, does this matter?

It doesn't matter. Princeton would have told you in some other way if something was missing.

Thanks for letting me know

How do you know if you have accepted or not on March 29 if you can not check your application status online?

You would just have to wait for the decision to come in the mail. I am sure that they are not going to be able to give this information out over the telephone with so many applicants.
All the ivy league schools are releasing their decisions on line at the same time on March 29th. They are also mailing out the decisions that night. If it is good news, then looking at decisions from multiple schools on line is easy to do. If not, it might be hard to know within seconds if one is in or not. Personally, I think it is easier for one to prepare themselves if they see a thin envelope before they open it.
