Application Status

I applied Early Action to Binghamton and I am able to view my status, but what does the following mean?: Admission Type: FR prev coll cred
Application Preference: Not entered

Even though I sent in all my materials early it says that is received my supplement on December 3 and my transcript on December 6. Am I still an Early Action applicant?

Thanks for responding.

ALMOST THE SAME SITUATION HERE.
I'm hoping it's no big deal. But I emailed an admissions counselor to ask if I'm still considered for EA status as originally intended.

It would really stress me out if I have to wait until March to hear. I'm already going crazy...

Perfectedxchaos, can you update us if you get a response from the counselor? My supplement was received on 12/3 but I send it in early Nov so I don't know. It would be great if you can update us on this!

Mine supplement was received on 12/5 and my transcript on 12/6, but I applied at the end of October. I'm pretty positive I'm still on EA because it says so on my admission type. I sent everything in on time so they are probably having internal problems at Binghamton.

I wouldn't worry about it, guys.

Yea already mentioned in another thread about the same situation. Im gonna try to call them within the next few days.

last year binghamton received over 25,000 applications...this year its likely to be more...they are extremely overwhelmed...they will admit the high caliber students first and make a decision on the rest later....last year i applied early action but didn't hear until april....

I called them today and they said not to worry, that I am still and early action applicant.

I emailed my counselor at Binghamton (if you go to the site, and click your state and region) and she said I'm still listed as EA. Even though it says that some stuff was received sometime the first week of December.

I know for a fact I sent it out Early November, before the Nov. 15th deadline. So I think it's just a problem on their part, entering things into their new system.

I believe it's fine for all EA applicants, though if you're really paranoid, it doesn't hurt to email or call. Hope I helped some of your sanities.
