Application status

i got my login information. yay!

Got mine too!

got my card in the mail, still waiting on a login.

i have a friend who already got her login, and she says that every time she enters it, the page cannot be displayed??

odd...it worked for me. perhaps try again tomorrow. and if not, i guess u could give the admissions office a call.

Oh, make sure she capitalizes the B or whatever the first login letter is. I had that problem, too.

I got my login info, but then the email also stated that EE applicants need to send in transcripts of their quarter grades. I shall send it asap! Did everyone know that they needed to send in current quarter grades?

I sent in my Quarter 1 grades, and the school will be sending my mid year reports towards the end of January. Do you think that's fine? or do i need to send another copy...

I found out about the quarter grades today too! i'm in quite a rut actually....

The beginning of the school year I was having some serious family issues, and my 1st quarter grades ended up with two C+s on my report card (granted, I was ONE point away from a B in calc, and my Biology teacher doesn't round up during quarters ie 79.8 = C in her book)

Should I have my counselor send in an explanation about my family problems? But I feel ssooo uncomfortable using a family death as an excuse for my poor grades. It's just not right...

What are some of your suggestions? Is this bad enough that I should call admissions to opt for Regular decision, where they'll never see my quarter grades?

Lonely -

I think it'd be smart for your counselor to send in a letter. If your grades have gone up, then it's important the school knows. Also, if your counselor writes it, it doesn't seem as if you're making up excuses.

Have you already had an interview? That could also be a good venue to explain it. I was really sick last year but didn't want to use that as an excuse for anything in my application, so I just explained it to my interviewer. They note that, and that goes in your file.

Wellesley seems to really take into consideration every piece of information they get.

I'm sorry you had a bad first quarter. Good luck!

Do you know if there's a form or anything to submit the quarter grades, or do you just send it in?

I'm guessing we just send it.

I completely forgot about quarter grades; guess I'll be doing that today.

Does the Wellesley Midyear report show the separate quarter grades or the cumulative average?

I believe midyear reports only show semester grades (which are averages of the first two quarter grades).

It seems we all had the same problem with the quarter grades...phew, I'm glad I'm not the only one. x) I have a different problem, being that I feel my quarter grades were fabulous, but I'm worried that my midyear report won't be the same...D: I have no idea what my grades are right now in any of my classes!

i applied EE (12/31). still haven't got my login info. i'm a little anxious. should i e-mail my regional counselor or wait?

Hm, yeah, checking with your regional counselor wouldn't hurt. They're actually really nice over in admissions, at least in my experience thus far -- and trust me, I've contacted them several times now, heh. I've had my login info for a while now, but I applied mid-December (EE).

Yes, they are exceedingly nice in admissions; call and ask.

Midyear Report:_____________

Does not list the date received! And only a week till EE results, gahhhh.

I think my school just sent midyear reports last week (or maybe even early this week), so there's no date received on my status page, either. I wouldn't worry about it; I'm sure it'll work out.

I am going to be on vacation but I don't care what we're doing, how opposed my mom is to internet on vacation or if I have to disrupt plans a bit, so much for my 'not going to open it'; I want to see that 'maybe' and get it over with.
