Congrats to all those who got in! When did you guys apply? Because I applied in late December and they got all my school related materials (transcript, letters of recommendation, etc.) by mid January, and it stills ready for review.

Also, is it possible to withdraw an application from a particular department and instead apply to another faculty?

Items outstanding until Jan 30 then Ready for Review
basically it took them half a day to review it

have you sent in your first semester transcript?

I have been updated to further review required, so I am assuming that they are just waiting for my mid year grades. (I just got them this friday, so it may take a while). Thanks for responding.

i sent in my application on november 27th, sent in my ACT on dec. 6th, sent in my transcript (without first semester grades) on dec. 4th, and my application still says ready for review. it seems like the status of a few people have changed to "further review required" without their semester grades in and im kinda worried about my status not changing even though my completed app was sent very early. i sent in my first semester grades yesterday, so will that mean that my app finally gets a status change? im geting nervous because mcgill's definitely one of my faves.

so its really quick once you get midterm grades in? that's good to know. im into all of my backups, so it will be good to hear from one of the school's im really interested in relatively soon.

my first sem. grades are being sent monday.

quick question...i was looking at the items they received, and there is a black next to where it should say received or whatever date they received it. it does say my school in the next blank though. does this mean im missing the whole thing? or maybe just my midterm grades? those are sent on monday.

it does say that the general status is application processed and under review...

if it just says your school name under notes but blank under received, then that means they haven't received your midterms yet. it took 3 weeks for my midterm grades to be updated, so it might take a while longer for you too

oh ok, thanks that's good to know. i would freak out if they didnt have any of my grades...my midterm grades are being sent monday but im think im going to try to get my guidance counselor to fax them in addition to sending them.

hi,
McGill is my top choice for school. i applied right about when they put up the applications, but since then i've had so many problems (for example my grades never made it b/c my guidance counselors didn't send them properly b/c they're not used to sending stuff of the country. Luckily mcgill let me go ahead and fax them). Seriously everything has gone wrong that could go wrong! Now i just figured out how to check my application status and when i typed in my PIN # etc. it said that my login was disabled??? does anyone happen to know what that means??? and i also was wondering how long did it take you all to receive your decision??? i called and they told me i have until like March 21 or 31 or something!!!
aaaahhhh!!!!! Please help!!! i'm freaking out!

calm down, b/c I was in the same position as you were in. All you have to do is call them tomorrow and tell them that your PIN has been disabled and they will assist you in resetting it. After that, you should be able to access your application status. And make sure you call them yourself, because they claim that resetting your PIN is a personal issue and that they will not assist anyone else besides you.
