Application Status

I submitted my rolling UMich application on 10/30, but when I logged on to my wolverine access page, it says that the application was "received" on 11/3. Does this mean I won't qualify under early response? I heard it is much harder to get in if you apply after 11/1, but I applied before! Will they know that?

I'm pretty sure that you will qualify as early response.

You should probably contact Michigan and confirm it with them, though.

Since the 30th was a thursday and they didn't post it as in till the following monday you should be fine. It had to be submitted by the 1st, whether that be postmarked or online. Not received by the 1st. so you'll be fine

It's okay. I got official reply that the date is to suggest the physically received date, not postmark.

Where are you getting this information? It is postmark date

"What is considered a completed application?

Freshmen wishing to be considered for the Early Response deadline must have all required application materials postmarked by November 1st."

Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Early Response

I emailed the admission office and they replied.

As I see it, there is no 'postmark' for the electronic application. Once you push the 'send' button it might take them a while to realize that you pushed it at all. The "must have all required application materials postmarked by November 1st." may be regarding teacher recommendations or if you chose to mail in your application.
Of course, I could be wrong.

lol yeah.. i had the same problem i sent it in at oct 30, but recevied at 3rd soo im sure we will be considered as early reponse

anyone know when the next round of decisions is coming out?
i sent my application in on 10/28 and my counselor recs + transcript were received 11/17.
anyone know when i should get a response?
