<p>How long after you submit the Common App/essay does it take for them to mark it off the App Checklist? I submitted them 3 days ago, yet they aren't marked off. </p>

<p>i submitted my application last thursday night, and the WashU tracker finally updated today. their offices were closed until today.</p>
<p>Yeah, their offices are a tad slow to react at the moment, but:</p>
<p>A. They were closed for the holidays, and
B. They're probably swamped with apps right now</p>
<p>Give it a week, then call them (especially if you submitted it online, then you should be fine).</p>

<p>My D's Teacher Rec showed up today. She mailed it about the 12th.</p>
