<p>What does that mean? It says me to apply for financial aid. Does that mean I have a chance to be admitted? Or I am already in?</p>
<p>Yes you have a chance of being admitted, but what you are seeing on the Financial Aid Portal applies to all “applicants”. It is independent of the admission decision. All freshmen applicants will be in “good academic standing” since they have no grades yet. You will find out first on the AIS page what your status is for admission. Did you apply by December 1st? If so, the application had a section to automatically apply for any A&M scholarships. If not, the only thing you can fill out now is the FAFSA. I think the deadline for that is sometime in March.</p>
