Whenever I check my Purdue app status, everything is filled out, and all the stuff at the bottom has been received and have dates and notes. However, there is no part saying... "everything has been received and under review" or anything like that. Is there supposed to be something like that? I'm scared because I hope it is not because of the guidance counselor form, which I don't think my counselor has sent yet. If they don't get the form, will they not be able to review my application? I really want a decision by December, so I want to make sure everything that needs to be turned in, is turned in. Thanks for your help everyone

[Purdue University - Check Application Status](http://admissions.purdue.edu/apply_now/Application_Status.html)
hope this helps

If you have everything handed in by now that are more important like transcript and all you’d get your decision before december ends for sure.

STV - I contacted Purdue about your exact question. They said that there will not be a status posted this year such as “complete and sent to review” due to the fact that they are releasing decisions starting December 11. As long as a date is filled in next to each required component of the application as listed in the status, then you are all good.

thanks everyone!!

Do you know if recommendations show up on the status page too? I really want to know if mine made it there.

^^Recommendation?

I don’t remember my son requestiong any for Purdue? Did he miss something?
If so - he needs to get those requests in quickly to meet the deadline!

recommendations are not necessary for Purdue! I just got an email from Purdue yesterday saying that all my necessary items (test scores, application fee, transcript, and application) were in by October 16th, so I’ll get a decision around December 11th. Those are the only 4 things you need to turn in for them to look at your application, the other things, like recommendations, are optional

^^ Good - I"m breathing better now!!! Thanks!

WHOAAA wait… there’s a COUNSELOR FORM?

…I was never made aware of this, and I submitted my app/transcripts like a month ago and nothing has changed…

what’s up with this counselor form and where is it??

Uh…yeah - echoing I’mOnABoat - what counselor form and where is it???

DS had this same problem with Clemson and VA Tech…thought he was all done and then found a counselor form. gggrrrr…

this is the high school recommendation form, but i don’t think it is one of the necessary items that you have to have for them to review your application because it did not show up on my application status page… but I could be wrong
All I know is that you HAVE to send it sometime before you enroll, lol

What the hell? Maybe we’d have known about that if they didn’t hide it in the backwaters of their website…

I submitted my application on September 30th, and since then thought It was complete. Is the fact that I just got this form now going to affect my chances?
