application status

I've been checking my application status consistently and according to the site, CMC has all of my credentials except my essays. They've indicated that they've received my application, so I don't understand why they don't have my essays. Is anyone else having this problem?

I figure I will give them a week or two before I call, since they are probably buried in apps right now.

S2 mentioned the same thing last night. Perhaps they down load them separately and record them separately as well.

The website indicates my son’s essays are missing as well. I double checked on the common app website and essays went through. I wouldn’t worry about it. Obviously admissions must check through the other info before checking essays.

OK Thanks! :]

Is it a problem if the payment on the commonapp website says submitted instead of downloaded?

Hi all, where exactly do you go to find out your app status?

Try going here to check status: https://webapps.cmc.edu/admissionstatus/

You need to register first, but should be able to check your status after you do.

“Your application has been given careful consideration by our Admission Committee, and we regret to inform you that you have not be offered admission for the coming fall semester.”

Soo “you have not be offered admission” That’s cool, just casual spelling mistakes thrown in the letter. I mean really, a university can’t even send out a rejection letter without making a spelling mistake?

Didn’t want to go there anyway. :)

Cut them some slack on the admissions message, they’re one man short in the admissions department…

Seriously, you’d think they have a correct, form letter for this purpose that they’ve used for the last fifty years.
