What does it mean when a rolling admissions university has been reviewing you application without reaching a decision for about a month now?

Same here, I think Cornell Engineering is rolling, sent in application before 3/15, haven't heard any decision yet.

well at least we are not alone

How about a college losing your application and then sending you a completely different one (for different program) to fill out and write 2 special essays? Darn them!

I am in the same boat as CNCL... Cornell College of Engineering = Slow and Painful. I got into Penn today, hopefully Dartmouth and Penn will start a trend of acceptances. I want to hear from Cornell though, I've been talking to people in the admissions office and engineering office for the past two weeks now and still nothing. GRRRR.

Yeah! Isn't that annoying? Damn. I feel like I could start screaming into the phone and the person on the other side would forget they were even talking on the phone when I was done. anywya--no attention whatsoever. I tell myself it has to come eventually--but does it really? didn't some kid write on this board that his decision never came and he called in, found out he was rejected, and never even recieved THAT letter..?

I'm waiting to hear from Bennington College. I mailed my app 4/01, interviewed by phone on 4/22 and they say I should hear this week. I'm so tired of waiting. I want to know where I'm going already.

I can't believe that a school wouldn't send the rejection letter. Do you know where that was? That is beyond awful.
"Hi, I was calling to check on the status of my transfer application."
"Can I have your name, please? Oh, I'm sorry, you were rejected."

...Gee. Thanks.

I can't remember which school--hoping it's not NYU, but you never know. I call like every week so hopefully they haven't just forgotten. But how can I be under review for so long? bleh
