I had submitted my application to Yale University after 9:00 PM PST on January 1st. Theoretically, this falls before both Yale’s and Common Application’s deadline of 12:00 PM “based on your local timezone”; however, after recently checking my Yale portal, I noticed that it states I submitted on 01/02/2016.
I am assuming this is simply due to time zone difference and not because I understood the deadlines incorrectly. That said, I would greatly appreciate anyone’s input on the matter, be it positive or not so positive. Thank you very much in advance.
