does gtown have any kind of policy about sending in supplements w/ your app? for example, i want to send in a cd of some piano pieces ive recorded, but theres nothing in the app about doing that. should i even bother sending in the supp, or would it just anger the adcom? thanks!

I have heard two versions of this. One is that if they don't ask for it, then don't do it. The second is that if it is something you are VERY passionate about, even if it is not the program you applying for, then send it in. You would have to ask this question to Gtown itself- the number is on the website. But do you mind if I ask what pieces you are going to play? Bc I play piano, too, and I am always looking for new pieces!!

How good are you? I mean if the cd is very impressive then go ahead and send it in, but if you're just an above average high school piano player than I wouldn't send it. You can do what you wish though.

i think im pretty good. def above the average high school pianist, esp w/ the pieces im was planning on submitting since i've practiced them to death. i think imma go ahead and send it in, and thanks for your responses! any suggestions on maybe the types pieces (classical, jazz, orignial comps, etc) i should send in? thanks again!
