I understand that earlier is better in submitting the application but at what point is time a disadvantage to an application. I submitted my app a week ago, is this too late, right in the middle, or still 'early'??

I'm pretty sure that it said somewhere that there is no advantage to turning in the application earlier or later at michigan. The only advantage is that you will find out your decision earlier. I applied to the Early Response, and that was what they said to me, though, I still haven't found out my decision. How long did it take anyone else to find out?

the earlier you apply, the more spots are available, so they have more room to accept/defer borderline applicants. i'd say you're right in the middle, def. not late, but not "early," in that tons of people have already gotten in. good luck, i'm sure you'll do great.
