Application Tracker Updates

Has anyone figured out when the Application Tracker is updated? Days? Times?

This is what i really wanna know as well

Application Tracker has finally changed to “February 4, 2011: Your application is being very carefully considered.” YES! Son said, “I guess they’ll carefully consider it for the next 24 days before sending my rejection letter.” You gotta love his sarcasm!

^HockeyMom63…In most of the cases for folks receiving admissions decisions this year, once the App Tracker changes to “carefully considered” the decision normally comes within about 7 days. Some saw the status change on App Tracker to reflect their decision followed by the snail mail envelope a few days after that (about 10 days total time) but a few folks actually got the snail mail notification first. Either way, I think your Son’s decision should be known fairly soon. Good Luck!!

Mine changed to “being carefully considered” this evening. Hope it’s soon!

Still no word and it’s Feb. And, my son applied in July. No change with App Tracker. Meanwhile, every one of the seven school he applied to accepted him and one gets as many apps as the U and only accepts 2,000 students. Even the guidance counselor is concerned so she called and was told that they have everything they need and his file is still under review. Seriously?

My son’s application tracker still says “looking forward to receiving your test scores, looking forward to receiving your transcripts” and he received his acceptance packet 2 weeks ago! Their online system is not working properly.

JULY??? Seriously? Omg I thought that Oct was early.

I’ve said this before somewhere else regarding Minnesota - they don’t seem to be as organized in the application process as some of the other big schools.

^Read through some of the decision threads for Univ of Michigan this year. U of Minn might seem a little disorganized, but it’s smooth and streamlined compared to Michigan’s issues.
