I applied to St johns on november 15 and I still dont get a response, I applied for radiological sciences and I call several times and they still telling me that my application is in review, how long does it take for a descion?
Did you apply Early Action or Regular Decision?
I applied early action
If you applied early action, you definitely should have heard by now since St. John’s is rolling admissions. You should check that your test scores are all sent and that you counselor has sent all required transcripts and recs, since that could be keeping your app from being complete.
I’m having the same issue…St. John’s was the first school I applied to (in mid October) and I applied early action. I emailed them asking for a time frame when I should be hearing back because I had already heard from of my EA schools and they wouldn’t give me a straight answer but they said that they had all of my materials. Weeks later I still hadn’t heard anything so I asked again and got the exact same response which was really frustrating. Finally in late January I randomly got an email congratulating me on my acceptance (which I was unaware of) and that if I hadn’t gotten anything in the mail yet, I would be shortly. Over a week ago I emailed the admissions office asking if there was a problem, and they replied asking for my address and other info to check if my letter was ever mailed. I have yet to receive my acceptance letter, let alone and answer to my email. Maybe something got lost in the mail, but every experience I’ve had so far dealing with St. John’s has been horrible. I’ve gotten countless emails for financial aid workshops and I even received a letter of acceptance for the honors college, but I haven’t even gotten my acceptance letter yet. The lag in communication is ridiculous and is leaving a really bad impression. I feel like I’m being ignored by them. I need to make a decision soon and I have many other schools that have already offered me a lot of money. If St. John’s doesn’t do something soon there’s no way I’ll go there.
