"Please do not send application updates to admissions staff. Information will reach your file most quickly if it is faxed to our file room at 203-777-6120."

I am an international student who was deferred SCEA. Is it okay to just send updates using fax? Or should I email my regional admissions rep as well?

?

Your answer is in the same post as your question, kiddo.

Sorry, I didn’t make this clear enough. I’ve seen several posts where people are emailing regional admissions rep about their application updates (awards etc). I am confused because the website explicitly states that Yale wants its applicants to send updates to the file room via fax… So is it necessary to email regional admissions rep?

Anything on Yale’s website should be given significantly more weight than anything on CC.

Thanks for the quick reply =D
