I don’t know if anybody else has seen this yet, but I just went over to academyadmissions and saw that they have the online application page for 2012 up. I’m pretty sure that this isn’t the ss page either. It says my status was Applicant and that I was competitive, and has anybody else seen this page yet?

Did you separately enter information into the application page for 2012 to result in your Applicant" and "competitive" status, or was information you may have submitted for Summer Seminar transferred into the application page to result in this status?

They take your seminar app as your pre-app. They then deem you competitive or not.

Around the summer you will get your candidate kit URL in the mail.

And that's where the fun begins.

I'm pretty sure you can't start the actual application for the class of 2012 until around the time you get back from summer seminar.

Yeah, I can update the things that I entered for the ss application, but I can't do anything else like recommendations, essays or other things like that.

Where can you see your status on the admissions webpage? I also applied to SS and I was accepted to session A and would like to see my official status on the AFA site.

On the admissions section of the academyadmissions website look at the bottom right and you will see "online application". Click on that and it will take you to the main page for applications. Click on the one for graduating in 2008 and then click on the start pcq button, and then you just have to enter your social security number and birthdate. I had to update some of the questionnaire section, for some unknown reason they were not transferred over from my ss application. They all had "no" for them so I just had to change them.

Hey cool, I was accepted to Session A too! See you there.
