Application withdrawal question

I made an incredibly stupid decision by deciding to withdrawal my apps from some college's that I had applied to because I was "sure" I wanted to go to one that I got accepted to. But after a lot more research I may have changed my mind.

Has anyone every "un"withdrew an application? I emailed some schools and am waiting for a reply. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks a lot for your time.

I have a friend who has done that and also been accepted. It is a shaky situation to get into in the first place and the lesson for the future is that there is no harm in keeping the application in.

Send a letter to your interviewer telling him/her that you have seriously considered your choices and would like to re consider a spot for admission at XXX. This late in the game do not expect anything, it will be tough. It is worth a shot though.

It doesn't hurt to try, but I think poster ^^ is right....what harm would it have been to leave them active in the first place. The only thing that is certain in life is change.

I gave it a shot, now i can only hope for the best...

Somewhere in the country, a few admissions officers are having a hearty, evil laugh right now.

what do you mean?
