I already posted this in the college admissions forum, but I figured since this is the school I want to hear from, I would post it here.

I made an incredibly stupid decision by deciding to withdrawal my apps from some college's that I had applied to because I was "sure" I wanted to go to one that I got accepted to. But after a lot more research I may have changed my mind.

Has anyone every "un"withdrew an application? I emailed some schools and am waiting for a reply. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks a lot for your time.

There were over 50,000 applications here this year, with so many of them qualified. I doubt that they will let you re-instate your application because your not being in the selection pool just made their job slightly easier. Now they can guilt-free choose somebody they think will love to come to UCLA as opposed to you who has already shown that there may be someplace that you would rather be.

NYU, and that is why I withdrew the apps, but it is looking like NYU is gonna give me a lot less than I expected, so I dunno. I can get by, i would just rather not be in that much debt.

nyu accepted me too. and they gave me less too.. thats why i came here. but ur screwed dude. admissions not gonna reinstate ur app. thats a done deal. but the bright side is...new york is a big city too.

yeah, nyu is good, albeit expensive. I wont be devastated by going there, actually I would be more than happy, its just very expensive. So i figured id give it a shot.

It's so not fair that they reinstated your application after you withdrew it! I really want to get into UCLA, so I would never withdraw my app! I know this sounds mean but I REALLY HOPE YOU DON'T GET INTO UCLA!

haha, jar2009 are you serious? Are you really getting bent out of shape over this? I guarantee that no matter if I get in or not it will make no difference on whether you get in. Haha some people on this board are crazyy...
