Application Withdrawn

Hello,

I received a letter in the mail today stating that my application will be withdrawn for failure to send them required items. However, I called them soon after I was notified of which item they were missing (transcript), and sent it to them.
To verify that they had received my transcript, I called them a week and a half later and a Cornell rep said herself that my "application was complete". Technically speaking, that statement wasn't true and is therefore deceptive.
So, what can I do to fix this situation? Is there still a chance that my application would be re-considered? After all, it isnt my fault if a Cornell rep stated herself verbatim that my "application was complete".

Any advice welcome, thanks.

call and calmly explain and discuss what happened. don't be a pushover; get them to review your app, but don't flip out.

i agree with sparticus. Usually they're pretty understanding about things, just explain your case completely and hope for the best.

The exact same thing happened to me. I got a letter about a month ago which said that my transcripts were missing, so I immediately sent them in only to receive a letter yesterday which said that my application was still incomplete and had been withdrawn. I wasn't so upset when I found out, since Cornell wasn't exactly my dream school, but I'm getting madder by the moment.
