Application won't allow my son to pick which term he is applying for

<p>Is anyone else having this problem? It say this when you try to pick from a drop down menu:</p>

<p>FSU accepts applications no earlier than one year in advance of the desired term of entry. If you wish to be considered for a term not yet available, you can return at a later date to complete this application.</p>

<p>It doesn't give any option including Summer 2010.</p>

<p>Did you acess the right application? If you clicked on the incoming freshman application you should be ok.</p>

<p>It won’t let anyone apply for any term other than Spring 2010 until tomorrow. There is an announcement on the application portal when you log in that says: Florida State University is currently accepting transfer applications for the spring 2010 term. We are not currently accepting freshman applications. We will begin to accept applications for the fall and summer 2010 terms on August 3.</p>

<p>Yes, it states the application will not go live for summer/fall 2010 admissions until 8/3. Last year they announced a date and then they delayed it a week. So tomorrow will be the earliest you can apply, assuming there is no further delay. Will see what tomorrow brings.</p>

<p>To get ahead in the game, get your transcripts ready to be sent to FSU. Also make sure your SAT/ACT scores have already been sent to FSU.</p>

<p>For some reason on my app, it won’t let me even get that far. When I put my testing dates in it says “There are errors on this page.
Each test can be taken only once per month. Please correct the information below.” And all of my information is correct. Is anyone else having this problem?</p>

<p>THE APPLICATION HAD NEVER GONE LIVE UNTIL AFTER THE OPENING OF BUSINESS HOURS ON THE ANNOUNCED DAY (Aug 3) AND NOT UNTIL THE ADMISSIONS PAGE SAYS IT IS LIVE.</p>

<p>When it goes live today or this week, the admission site will clearly say so. Be patient. It still says right on the page “We are not currently accepting freshman applications…” When the office of admissions opens today, and IT has it up and going, it will say so. Until then, it won’t work. If it is not up and running by today, they will have on announcement on the sign in page.</p>

<p>Thanks for the information. Actually we thought yesterday was August 3rd - oops! He just went on this morning and it is working.</p>

<p>The portal went live after 10am and it now reads "Announcements–Florida State University is currently accepting transfer applications for the spring 2010 term and all applications for fall and summer 2010 terms.</p>
