<p>Is it OK for a college to receive recs, transcript, SAT scores several weeks before the application arrives? My guidance dept recommends that they submit info ASAP due to the volume of documents they submit.
I assume colleges hold this info in a file awaiting the application.</p>

<p>This would be helpful especially if I get rejected by ED school in mid December. Then I can click submit on the commonapp or school online RD applications which will be ready to go if necessary. It will also save me $$$ if I get accepted ED.</p>
<p>interesting. i'm doing exactly the same thing. i fileld out every app, but withhold the payments until i get the decision on dec 15.</p>
