<p>I was wondering if the UC applications are open. What i mean is if the personal statement prompts are out yet? I've checked their websites and it says applications OPEN on oct 1st, but I've also seen Prompts 1 and 2 being up on the websites. Are those prompts from last year or can I start writing about them now?</p>
<p>I know this might be quite stupid but I'm just really confused...</p>

<p>When the application opens, that means that’s the earliest you can submit your actual application. So I’m pretty sure the UC application is open for 1 month-- whereas the CSU’s are open for 2 months…
You should definitely write your essays now instead of waiting for the application to open</p>

<p>mmm maybe i shouldn’t trust my counselor that much…haha she was the one who told me the prompts are not out until november when I told her i was starting to write…so glad i double checked!!</p>
