What schools you're trying to get into, stats, etc.

3. Short Story Prize - 7th Grade

Interviews -
1. Great at Andover

Chunky, you're only applying to one school?

Its kinda like just testing out, if i have the 'prestigious boarding school potential". If i get accepted, ill go. if not, ill stay in canada or maybe go for it again next year and apply for more schools.

Greenhills, SPS (STILL trying to convince parents. I have like.. one day, though.)

GPA - 4.0
SSAT - 40th percentile. 50 V, 50 R, 31 M. Can't believe these scores. I did so well on the practice tests.
Academics - The only elective that is offered at my school is band and I take it. The other classes are just the normal public school courses.
EC's - Quiz Bowl, Knowledge Master Open, Soccer, Swimming, research history/current affairs indepedently. (I didn't list that as an EC, but I sort of wrote one of my essays about it).
Awards -
2nd place school wide geography bee (7th grade)
One of the top finalists in the school wide spelling bee (I don't remember what place, though.) (5, 6, 7 grades)
Perfect Attendance (K-5) omfg I missed a day in sixth grade lol (7) (didn't list..)

I don't remember anything else.

Jonathan, I'd wait for next year for SPS and work on the SSATs. It's highly unlikely this year.

Okay.

But the reason I wanted to go to boarding school is because I don't want to go to three different high schools. Hopefully next year, if I get in, I will go to Greenhills. If I like it there, I will stay, but if I feel like I can get a better education elsewhere, then I'd apply to SPS. If I were to get into SPS for my tenth grade year that would be great. So I would go there for two years. But I also want to do some sort of study abroad program for a year. I don't really know if that counts as a different high school, though.
