Applications available?

The website says that the application for Fall 2017 will open in July. Does anyone know what day specifically that they will be available?
On the current application you can only apply for Fall 2016 or spring 2017.

I thought it was July 1

@mommdc That’s what I thought initially, but when I was actually filling out the application, fall 2017 was not an option.
I will go back and try again!

If not, then hopefully next week?

It is not available yet! I can’t give you an exact date – but I can say that it will be very soon. You can check our social media (@pittadmissions on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr) for an announcement the day it opens, or keep checking back at our site!

Thank you!

So with applications available in July, when will admissions decisions start to be returned?

Thanks!

@carachel2, I don’t have any exact dates - but my estimate would be early fall.

Best of luck!

My daughter submitted her application with the SRAR and Short Answers last Wednesday, but am left with a lingering concern regarding the reporting of duel enrollment classes during her senior year. Initially she thought she should list them under the college, Miami University, as In Progress, but the SRAR would not allow her to complete, I believe, because there was no gpa to be reported yet. She finally figured out she would need to add them under the high school for her senior year marking them as dual enrollment with grade In Progress. This however does not give you the option to let Pitt know where she is taking the courses. Since the grades be reported with the final transcripts of the high school and also when she attempts to transfer the college credit I am pretty sure all is well, but again there is that lingering doubt. Was it done correctly?

Also, since she does not yet know which courses she will take during the Spring Semester for dual enrollment we did not fill anything in for Spring. We assume admissions will realize that information is not available yet? She is taking 4 out of 6 classes as duel enrollment and 2 at the high school year which were reported as year long classes in progress.

Can anyone else confirm that she did it correctly? @hailtopitt1787 ?

Thanks for any help or insights you might have!
