<p>Even though son #3 has not applied to Bama for Fall 2011, he sent his last two SAT and ACT score reports. He has already had a full day tour with private apointments at the Honors college and two different departments.<br>
His older brother is looking forward to his younger brother attending. They also plan on residing in the same suite.</p>

<p>Idinct, Bama was one of the easiest to apply to. You are right, he will feel more confident having a desirable option in hand. One recommendation, have him write 2 or 3 essays over the summer when he has the free time to devote to them. Many of the prompts are very similar and this will also help prepare him for any special interviews that may be required. If he has these written in advance they can often be recycled for scholarships. The most time-consuming ones for my D were those that had a very strict word count (500 words, for example. It was tricky to take a well written essay and condense to such a short form.)</p>
